Wendy is the President/Owner of Casleigh Consulting and leads a highly successful small, minority/woman-owned consulting business. She is actively involved in the day to day operations and success of the business with primary responsibilities for managing company financials, hiring and developing future leaders while delivering superior services to every client. Casleigh provides management consulting services for high growth clients including strategy creation, operating model development, technology integration, project management, and human resources capabilities. Additionally, Casleigh provides specialized recruiting and staffing services to a portfolio of active, growing, small business clients by providing a comprehensive hiring strategy that is customized to each client. Our approach helps clients build dynamitic teams with highly qualified professionals that align with the needs/requirements of the opportunity as well as the culture and long-term vision of the organization.
At Symbotix, Wendy serves as our Chief Administration Officer and supports our executive clients with enterprise strategy ideation, operating model development, technology integration, program investment and management disciplines, and human resources capabilities. She has been successful in redefining our client organizations to establish and implement streamlined and advanced processes for work collaboration/management and for execution of bundled strategic initiatives (programs) within short interval cycles and Time-Value frequencies. She also leads the development and deployment of creative, customized Solution Delivery Life Cycle’s (SDLCs) for efficient and predictable delivery of IT initiatives in our client’s IT shops. Wendy assures operational support and best/next practices for the delivery execution of an effective Program Management Office and Project Management practices. The results of her leadership have been demonstrated in our client’s improved operations, care delivery management, support for transitional medicine, clinical alerts and pathways, and improved health system efficiency with advanced insights that connect operational, clinical and research information.
Wendy has spent the majority of her career managing large complex organizations to success, consistently exceeding client expectations and delivery completion. By developing effective working partnerships and providing unambiguous leadership, During her highly successful 12-year career at Keane, Inc., Wendy managed and developed some of her clients' largest and most complex IT client engagements around the world. Following her career at Keane, Wendy took Operational Management roles at both Williams Lea and AETEA, learning how to run a full business unit to include Financial Management, Human Resources, and Sales. This gave her the experience and knowledge to start her own company.
Wendy has a bachelor's degree in Computer Informational Sciences, with a concentration in Artificial Intelligence, from the University of Delaware. She is currently a member of NAWBO and of PMI as well as involved with multiple area charities co-running and co-founding Truman Charities which supports funding for local charities such as the DC Chapter of the Leukemia Lymphoma Society, Kid in Needs Distributors (KIND), “So What Else”, Men Against Breast Cancer, and Active Minds. Additionally Wendy volunteers time to SkimUSA, KIND, and Coastal Clean-up.
